The building tells you what needs doing.
Most cleaning happens on a timetable written before anyone used the building. Signals turns readings from the building itself into assigned, tracked work, so effort follows demand instead of the calendar.
A reading becomes a task with an owner.
- Signals. Readings arrive from the devices you already have or choose to fit: footfall counters, door contacts, consumable dispensers, environment sensors. Each is timestamped against a site and a zone.
- Sensor rules. You set the threshold and what happens when it is crossed. Two hundred entries since the last service raises a task. A dispenser below twenty per cent raises a different one.
- Assigned, not broadcast. The task lands on a named person with an SLA, in the same queue as the rest of their work. It is not an alert somebody has to notice.
- Closed with evidence. Completion is captured at the point of work, so the reading, the task and the proof of service sit on one record and the next threshold measures from the right moment.
Frequency stops being a guess.
- Priced on frequency, delivered on demand. A contract is priced with an assumed frequency. Signals shows what the real demand was, which is the difference between defending a frequency and evidencing one.
- Quiet sites stop absorbing hours. A floor nobody used does not need the same attention as the one that hosted an event. Hours move to where the demand was rather than being spread evenly by a rota.
- The complaint arrives after the task. A threshold crossed at 14:10 and serviced at 14:35 is a different conversation from a complaint at 16:00 with no record of when the area was last touched.
Questions we get asked
What is sensor-driven cleaning?
Sensor-driven cleaning means work is triggered by demand rather than by a fixed timetable. Readings from footfall counters, door contacts, consumable dispensers and environment sensors cross a threshold you set, and Operify AI raises an assigned task with an SLA against the site and zone that produced the reading.
Do we need to buy specific sensors?
Operify AI is vendor neutral on hardware. Readings arrive from the devices you already have or choose to fit, and each is timestamped against a site and a zone. The rules that turn a reading into an assigned task are configured in Operify AI rather than in the sensor vendor’s own tool.
